THE FOUR SONS OF HORUS:

Horus the Elder has four sons by an unnamed goddess, and it is their likenesses that appear on the lids of the canopic jars used to contain the internal organs removed from a body during the process of mummification.

DUAMUTEF is a jackal and protects the stomach. He is guarded by Neith. He is one of the four sons of Horus.
