Tefnut is an elemental deity representing Water. She was created from the spit of Atum. As the deification of Water, she represents fertility. She is typically depicted as fully human, but sometimes she is depicted as a human with the head of a lioness. Together with her brother Shu, she had children Geb and Nut.
